REPORTS TO: Operations Manager
FRONT DESK/RECEPTIONIST PURPOSE: Welcome guests, check guests in and out of the hotel, deal with guest queries, provide prompt and professional guest services to meet guest needs and ensure guest satisfaction. This individual will support other departments including Sales, Security and Airport Shuttle/Driver, as needed.
MAIN JOB DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcome and greet walk-in guests and guests with reservations when they arrive at the front desk
- Register and check in guest
- Confirm relevant guest information
- Verify guests’ payment method
- Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization
- Issue room keys and direct guests to their rooms
- Maintain clear and accurate records of guest room bookings
- Compute all guest billings, accurately post charges to guest rooms and house accounts
- Receive and transmit messages for guests
- Retrieve mail, packages and documents such as faxes for guests
- Listen and respond to guest queries and requests both in-person and by phone
- Respond to current and prospective guests’ needs
- Book reservations for individuals, families and groups as required and provide hotel rates and services
- Refer guests to local amenities, venues and services
- Liaise with necessary staff including housekeeping, airport shuttle/drive and maintenance to address any problems or complaints made by guests
- Manage conference room bookings and scheduling
- Close guest accounts and check out guests
- Review accounts and charges with guests during the check-out process
- Process accurate credit or cash payment of guest accounts
- Inform housekeeping when rooms have been vacated and are ready for cleaning
- Monitor visitors to the hotel
- Enforce rules and policies of the hotel
- Maintain a neat and orderly front desk and reception area
- Guest/customer relations experience

REPORTS TO: Operations Manager
HOUSEKEEPER JOB PURPOSE: Perform routine duties in cleaning and servicing of guest rooms and baths under supervision of housekeeping supervisor. Room attendant promotes a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly and should also be able to address guest requests and problems.
He/She should maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all housekeeping departmental policies/service and also the hotel’s procedures/standards. Additionally, maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment.
MAIN JOB DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Cleaning Duties
- Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
- Cleaning and sanitising toilets
- Inspect condition of bathrobes and replace soiled/damaged ones
- Remove dirty bed linen and make up bed with clean linen
- Clean closets and door tracks on check-out rooms, removing dust and debris
- Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard/marble floors
- Ensure correct amount and placement of hangers, extra blankets/pillow and luggage rack
- Responsible for replenishment of guest complimentary water
- Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies
- Replenish amenities according to the operational standards
- Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste
- Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements
- Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests
- Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately
- Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day
- Experience in cleaning and sanitizing
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different situations
- Ability to take criticism
- Good customer service and listening skills to meet guest inquiries
- Detailed-oriented and organizational skills
- Reliability, integrity, honesty and high energy levels
- Multiple language skills is an asset such as English, Khmer or Mandarin.

FOOD and BEVERAGE SERVER PURPOSE: Food and beverage service is the service of food made in the kitchen and drinks prepared in the bar to customers (guest) at various premises such as the Main lounge, Bar, Room Service/In Room Dining and Meeting and Conference Room. The primary focus of food and beverage services are responsible for maintaining high quality of food and service, food costing, managing restaurant/cafe and bar.

SALARY: Negotiable, from $150+/month depending on experience

COOK PURPOSE: The hotel cook is responsible for training and managing kitchen personnel and supervising and coordinating all related culinary activities. He/she has to estimate food consumption and requirements or purchase food and also select and develop recipes. He/she will work with the Operations Manager to coordinate any food tasks.
MAIN JOB DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare food for guests/customers
- Weigh, measure, mix and prep ingredients according to recipes
- Steam, grill, boil, bake or fry meats, fish, vegetables, and other ingredients
- Check food and ingredients for freshness
- Arrange and garnish dishes
- Maintain accurate food inventories
- Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures
- Ensure that the kitchen area, equipment and utensils are cleaned
- Help lead and inspire our kitchen staff with the Operations Manager
- Estimate expected food consumption and organizes preparation
- Keeps records and accounts of food purchases
- Alters dishes based on consumer suggestions or requirements
- Work well under pressure and within the time limit
- Thorough experience with hot and cold food preparation
- Able to read and follow standardized recipes
- Good working knowledge of accepted sanitation standards and health codes
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, etc.
- Able to handle work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
